BT Lab (BTL) in Centre for Automotive Research and Tribology (CART), IIT Delhi, is Shop-Floor for the research and development in rechargeable batteries. The BTL group is working on the different aspects of the battery from cell to pack designing, thermal modeling, electrochemical behavior analysis, real-time state estimation fault analysis in the battery management system (BMS), and application-based charge/discharge cycling. The multidisciplinary group monitors the battery's health, provides efficient protocols for the charging/discharging of the battery, and applies telematics for the real-time analysis of the battery. They work on real-time state estimation by hybridizing battery models with advanced machine learning algorithms and artificial intelligence. Also, the team develops solutions to problems of start-ups and industries by forming cloud BMS, staggering of cells in pack designing, and charging profiles.

कौन कहता है, की IIT में सिर्फ लोग पढ़ने जाते हैं। एक बार यहाँ आकर देखो, जरा !  जो सादगी, जो सुकून, और जो विचार मिलेंगे वही तो हैं जो एक संस्थान को आगे बढ़ाते है। क्या जरुरी है? जीवन में दिखावा या मुश्किलों के हल निकालना ! भई, ,मेरे लिए तो बस जीवन का मतलब ढूंढते रहना जरुरी है।  वह चाहे किसी में भी हो।  हाँ, तो बात IIT  में जीवन कैसा है उसकी हो रही थी।  कोई फर्क नहीं पड़ता की तुम कौन हो, कहाँ से आए हो,  बस तुम्हारे पास अगर जज़्बा है और जीवन को किसी भी मुश्किल में से निकालने की कला है तो यहाँ का जीवन जन्नत है तुम्हारे लिए।  

चाहतें भी उगती हैं, कलियाँ भी खिलती हैं।

यह IIT है जनाब, यहाँ जिंदगी रंग बदलती है।।
